How much does it cost?
Up until 31 December 2026, developers pay an annual fee based on the projected number of private homes they build and turnover from private home completions.
From 1 January 2027, a revised fee model will apply, consisting of an annual registration levy based on private new home completions and a two-tier NHOS complaint fee.
Fees provide access to the independent New Homes Ombudsman Service for complaint resolution, along with support, resources and guidance to help developers meet the Code and improve customer experience.
