Buy your new build home with confidence
The New Homes Quality Code and New Homes Ombudsman Service protect you from the moment you reserve your new home from a registered developer until two years after legal completion.
Am I covered?
If you reserve a new home from a registered developer, you will be protected by the New Homes Quality Code for two years after legal completion. During this time, you can raise complaints with the New Homes Ombudsman Service.

How am I protected?
When you buy a new home from a developer that has committed to comply with the Code, your experience should reflect the high standards of fairness, quality, responsiveness, and transparency that it requires.
If you have a complaint about the quality or customer service your developer provides and attempts to resolve it directly have failed, you can raise it with the independent New Homes Ombudsman Service, free of charge.
