Emma Toms Appointed Chief Executive for New Homes Quality Board

Emma Toms has been appointed as Chief Executive of the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) with effect from 1 March 2024.

Emma joined the NHQB in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Interim Chief Executive in December 2023. Emma brings a wealth of experience from her senior leadership roles across various sectors including automotive, rail and housebuilding.

Rob Brighouse, NHQB Chair, said: “Emma has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication since joining the New Homes Quality Board. As the NHQB goes from strength to strength, we welcome Emma’s leadership as Chief Executive to further grow and evolve the organisation, and to help achieve great consumer protection for homebuyers when purchasing and settling into a new home.”
